Man gets 7 years in prison for string of attempted armed robberies of convenience stores

(WIVB) — A Buffalo man received seven years in prison for a string of armed robberies in December 2021, the Erie County District Attorney's Office said Wednesday.Cesarick Merritt, 35, attempted to steal cash, lottery tickets and cigarettes while armed on three different occasions.
