Man charged with criminal weapon possession during traffic stop

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) — New York State Police say a stop for speeding led to more in Lockport on Saturday.
Lockport resident William Caffery, 30, was stopped on Robinson Rd. in Lockport after Troopers say he was going 58 MPH in a 45 MPH zone.
State Police interviewed him, and in the process, allegedly found a metal knuckle knife on the vehicle’s floorboard.
Caffery was charged with speeding and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
