Man accused of stealing dog from SPCA

OLEAN, N.Y. (WIVB) — An Olean man has been accused of stealing a dog from a local SPCA shelter.
New York State Police arrested Stephen Schindlbeck, 31, on a charge of burglary after they say he took a dog, a leash, and dog food from a Route 16 shelter.
The dog was later found in good health.
Schindlbeck was committed to the Cattaraugus County Jail without bail.
