Lockport postal worker recognized for potentially saving lives

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) — A postal worker in Lockport potentially saved the lives of some residents after alerting them of a gas leak at their home.
In early December, Norma Trapper noticed a peculiar smell while she was delivering a package to a resident. It was the smell of gas.
After ringing the doorbell and delivering the package, she told homeowner Susan Wojcinski about her concerns.
