Local WW2 veteran remembers fallen soldiers
NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB)- Like so many WWII veterans, Cpl. Richard Keil was just out of high school when he put on a uniform and went overseas.
For him, Memorial Day is a chance to remember, tell stories, and be grateful for the men who stood next to him.
“A lot of credit to those men who went into ole Germany and all they had between them was their airplane and 30,000 feet of air between them and the ground,” Keil told News 4.
