Local parent claims discrimination from Cub Scouts organization

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB)- Rebecca Friot-Achtyl tells News 4 her son Dimitrios is devastated after being told he can’t return to his Cub Scouts pack.
The 8-year-old was recently asked to leave; according to the Cub Scouts, the boy was being aggressive and using inappropriate language.
“It really was preventing other boys from feeling that they could participate,” said Greater Niagara Frontier Council Scout Executive, Russell Etzenhouser.
