Local man charged with DWI following accident

GAINES, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police investigating the scene of an accident in Orleans County say they’ve arrested a local man and charged him with various crimes.
New York State Troopers say they’ve arrested Gary R. Ettinger, 29, following a crash on West Transit Church Road on Sunday. Police say they first found a vehicle with heavy damage to its front end then found Ettinger with injuries nearby.
