Local cheerleaders string scarves around Niagara Falls

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) — It is a small gesture that goes a long way.
A Niagara Falls cheerleading group is helping to make sure no one goes cold this winter.
On Sunday, girls from the “All Star Cheerleading” program strung scarves along Pine Avenue in the Falls.
The cold temperatures prompted this pay-it-forward initiative. In just 11 days the group was able to collect 200 scarves.
