Lightning blamed for morning fire in Genesee County

BERGEN, N.Y. (WIVB) – Lightning from an intense morning storm is being blamed for starting a two-alarm fire in Genesee County Monday morning.
Two passersby reported the blaze at a home on Creamery Road  just before 8 a.m.
Seventeen volunteer fire companies from three counties were called in to battle the fire.
No one was home at the time and no injuries were reported.
