Last minute shoppers flood grocery stores before Thanksgiving

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- The day before Thanksgiving shopping carts went head-to-head at local grocery stores.
“Everybody’s running around like chickens with their head cut off,” said J.J. Kelleher, a last minute shopper. “They need traffic signals at the end of each isle.”
Kelleher said he expected the rush, as home cooks around him grabbed the essentials. Some shoppers told News 4 they were picking up desserts and appetizers.
