Lancaster authorities warn of high creek this weekend
LANCASTER, N.Y. (WIVB) — Those living in flood-prone areas in Lancaster are being warned of rough waters ahead this coming weekend.
Lancaster Emergency Management officials say Cayuga Creek is forecasted to reach near flood stage on Sunday afternoon. They say the water levels are projected to be just over a foot below flood stage, coming in at about six feet and six inches high.
