Kayakers warned for not having proper lighting at night

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Kayaking is growing in popularity on Buffalo’s waterfront and because of that, the Erie County Sheriff’s Office is warning those on the water about the laws.
New York State laws require every paddle craft operator to carry a whistle and to display a white light.
