Jamestown Police investigating targeted shooting on Prendergast Ave.

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB)- Jamestown Police are investigating a Sunday afternoon shooting that injured one man.
Police say the man was walking on Prendergast Ave around 2:15 p.m. and was shot multiple time at the intersection of E. 8th street.
Witnesses say an occupant of a blue sedan drove up to the intersection and fired several shots before driving away.
The victim is being treated at an area hospital and his condition is unknown.
This is the fifth shooting within two weeks in Jamestow
