Improving road conditions aid morning commute
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Many Western New Yorkers were waking up to wintery weather Tuesday, but the roads were generally in pretty good shape by the busiest time of the morning commute.
Across the area, a weather system that came in Monday evening brought freezing rain, wet snow, and a crust of ice. But, thanks to warming temperatures in the early morning hours and lots of salt out on the roads, conditions improved pretty rapidly.
