Ice at Canalside could open soon

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — As fall leaves continue to change, western New Yorkers are reminded of an impending winter, along with the fun that comes with it.
Crews got to work on Tuesday on preparing winter festivities just days after Halloween. Officials say they’re building a new shelter for ice skaters to keep warm while taking a break.
Canalside officials say the attraction could be converted into an ice rink within two weeks time.
