Hunting homework required for NY license course

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — There is a new homework requirement for people applying for New York state hunting and trapping licenses.
People seeking hunting licenses have long been required to attend a free safety training course. The state Department of Environmental Conservation says that beginning this year students are required to review course materials and complete a homework sheet before attending the classroom and field lessons.
