Hundreds ticketed, 16 arrested following Bills game

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — On the watch for those breaking the law in the face of the traffic nightmare that is the end of a Buffalo Bills game, New York State Troopers say they were on high alert.
Troopers say their officers alone ticketed 106 people, including six tickets for cell phone violations and 33 speeding tickets. Police say they were patrolling to ensure driver safety; they also stopped various people for not wearing seat belts and for not restraining children in the car.
