Hamburg starts transition to new playground

HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB)- Out with the old and in with the new. A wooden playground in Hamburg won’t be around much longer.
Town leaders are raising $450,000 to renovate the playground.
A farewell event was held Saturday to celebrate the old playground and make way for the new one.
The town has raised $402,000 towards the goal. Construction will start as soon as they raise the rest of the money.
