Grand Island eyesore to become hotel

GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. (WIVB) –Seventy thousand vehicles pass by it every day. It has looked the same for twenty years but that’s about to change.
The three story office building on Long Road next to the 190 Thruway was built as the offices for Hooker Chemical in the 1960’s. It was Dunlop Tire’s Corporate offices in the seventies. It has been vacant since 1993, but the new owner has big plans for it.
