Governor Cuomo announces first woman to serve as State Police’s second-in-command

ALBANY, N.Y (WIVB) — Governor Andrew Cuomo has announced the first woman to ever serve as the New York State Police’s First Deputy Superintendent.
Patricia M. Groeber was appointed second-in-command of the State Police, which consists of 4,800 members, by Superintendent Joseph D’Amico.
