Gov. Cuomo proposes $15/hr. minimum wage for SUNY employees

ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVB) — Gov. Andrew Cuomo has announced the first proposal of his 2016 agenda — “Raise the minimum wage and lead the fight for economic justice.”
The proposal includes raising the minimum wage for State University employees to $15 per hour. The move by the Governor would affect 28,000 people, nearly 8,800 of whom work in western New York and the Southern Tier.
