Fruit Belt residents to get exclusive parking spots

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — People who live in Buffalo’s Fruit Belt neighborhood will soon have parking spots just for them.
Residents put up a fight, saying workers on the medical campus are taking their parking.
Tuesday, the Common Council passed a new law that will reserve about a dozen streets for residents. They will have to pay one dollar to get a permit.
