Frozen hydrants delay fire crews in Niagara Falls
NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) — News 4 is working to find out what caused a house fire in Niagara Falls Tuesday morning.
The fire broke out in a vacant home on the 1300 block of Ashland Ave. around 5:15 a.m. It spread to a neighboring home, causing minor damage there, according to fire officials.
Crews had trouble putting it out due to a number of frozen hydrants.
The people living in the home were allowed to re-enter the building.
