Former Famous Dave’s demolished to make way for Chik-Fil-A

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) – Preparations have begun at the site of the first Chik-Fil-A restaurant in Western New York.
The store will be located at the site of the former Famous Dave’s Restaurant on Walden Avenue near the Walden Galleria.
The old restaurant was torn down over the weekend.
Chik-Fil-A plans to open the restaurant by fall.
