Former Albany nurse who cared for burned baby in 1977 located

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A local woman’s search for a nurse who cared for her years ago at Albany Medical has taken the internet by storm, and a connection has officially been made.
On Thursday night, Amanda Scarpinati, of Athens, posted pictures of herself as an infant in the arms of an Albany Medical nurse. She was 3 months old and coming out of recovery. The burns to her head and hands are still visible after years of surgeries.
