First $1 billion-plus Powerball jackpot in history

Buffalo, N.Y. (WIVB) — Powerball fever is sure to spread between Sunday and Wednesday.
Early Sunday morning, the Multi-State Lottery Association posted a graphic showing the jackpot for Wednesday, January 13, of $1,300,000,000.It’s the first jackpot of over $1 billion in U.S. history, even though the cash value is $806 million.
