Firefighters battle blaze at two Black Rock homes

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Flames erupted at a home in Buffalo’s Black Rock neighborhood Wednesday morning, spreading to a nearby house.
Firefighters worked to contain the fire, keeping it to the two homes while hitting the flames with water. Smoke rose high into the air as the fire smoldered. 
While first responders blocked off surrounding streets, firefighters extinguished the blaze before 12:30 p.m.
