Fire damages both vacant and occupied houses

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Overnight flames tore through a vacant house on Buffalo’s east side and damaged another occupied house.
The fire happened on Northumberland Ave. and caused about $150,000 in damage to both buildings.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
