Fire call uncovers a large ‘Weed House’

NIAGARA FALLS, NY (WIVB) — A house fire in Niagara Falls uncovered an elaborate and large marijuana growing operation.
The firefighters were breaking through walls of a building at 1223 19th street when they discovered the weed farm.
Officers from the Narcotics Division found plastic hanging over the walls and an elaborate lighting system.  All apparently designed to promote plant growth.
