FAA releases new commercial drone guidelines

HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) — The drone industry is rapidly growing, especially for businesses. After Monday, it’s expected to grow even faster with a new set of FAA rules.
William Aumer, the owner of No Limit UAV in Hamburg, talked about what his business had to do before the new guidelines came out, he said, “We had to have a lawyer draft a set of paperwork, and it took us about 9 months for us to get our exemption from the FAA”
