Erie County deputies make first drinking while boating-related arrest of the season
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Boats are out on the water, and operators are drinking yet again, according to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office said they netted their first boating while intoxicated (BWI) arrest of the season on Monday night.
Deputies noticed the boat of Andrew Bodack, 49, on the Niagara River sometime before 10 p.m. They say his vessel was being driven without proper navigational lights.
