Erie County announces vast reduction in voting sites for primaries

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- This year's primary elections in Erie County will have far fewer polling sites than last year. The Erie County Board of Elections said this stems from the absence of a county-wide primary on Tuesday, June 25. Commissioners Ralph Mohr and Jeremy Zellner agree this will be a cost-saving effort for taxpayers.2024's primaries include a Republican primary for New York's 147th Assembly District and Republican town justice primaries in Collins and North Collins, among others.
