Erie Co. Sheriff’s Office gives active shooter training to organizations

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Erie County Sheriff’s Office hosted an active shooter training seminar on Wednesday night. Representatives from various organizations learned how to help fight back against shooters in the workplace, or public setting. The goal is to have those representatives go back to their organizations, and train other people.The police admit, they can’t be everywhere and it takes time to react. At the seminar, they laid out important things to remember
