Erie Co. looking for “angels” to help addicts seeking treatment

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Erie County is looking for volunteers – also known as “angels” to help people struggling with addiction.
These “angels” are people who are willing to volunteer their time, and be somewhat of a guardian angel. The program helps people go from addiction to rehabilitation, with the angels giving them support, and to keep them on the right track. Sometimes the volunteer job involves these “angels” to respond at unusual times
