Eastern Hills Mall could see major transformation

CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB) — A proposed plan could breathe new life into the Eastern Hills Mall and turn it into a mixed use development in the future.
Joan Kirch has been shopping at the Eastern Hills Mall since it opened, but says since then it hasn’t been the same.
“Not as many people. Not in competition but, with Boulevard Mall because everyone went to Boulevard Mall it was very nice and then they started here and it just slowly declined,” said Kirch.
