Earthquake occurs near Sanborn

SANBORN, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 1.2 magnitude earthquake occurred near Sanborn on Thursday.
To put it in perspective, the earthquake’s epicenter was more than nine miles north of North Tonawanda and almost 10 miles west of Lockport.
The earthquake was four kilometers deep and occurred early in the afternoon.
