Dyster with slim lead in Niagara Falls mayoral primary
Niagara Falls, N.Y. (WIVB) — Unless absentee ballots have a much different balance of votes, Paul Dyster is poised to win a third term as mayor of the Cataract City.
With 100 percent of votes counted, the unofficial tally in the Democratic primary shows Dyster with a 73-vote lead over Glenn Choolokian.
Dyster has come under some scrutiny lately, from pipes freezing last winter and residents not seeing any physical results yet, to an issue with a strange smell around the city.
