Driver slams into Gates Circle fountain, is charged with driving drunk

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A dangerous roundabout that drivers have failed to negotiate throughout the summer is at the center of another accident.
Police say another car crashed into the fountain at the center of the Gates Circle roundabout on Delaware Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The crash led police to take into custody 37-year-old Julieanne Carr. They say she crashed through the circle, drove through the fountain and caused damage to a fence, warning lights and stairs wh
