Driver in deadly drag race sentenced

COLDEN, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 20-year-old man is going to prison for a deadly drag race in Colden.
A judge sentenced 20-year-old Kody Schroeder to spend two to seven years behind bars. He was racing another driver when his vehicle slammed into a pickup truck that was turning into a driveway.
One of his passengers, Chauncey Kloiber, 28, was killed. Another passenger was seriously hurt.
Authorities also charged the driver of the other car that was racing.
