Driver identified; declared dead after rollover accident on Route 219

CONCORD, N.Y. (WIVB) — The victim in a fatal Thursday morning crash on Route 219 has been identified as Alfred Ermol, 58, of Buffalo.
The accident was the result of a rollover crash.
The Erie County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene around 6:20 a.m. that morning and found the vehicle on the expressway shoulder.
Deputy Flowers with the Sheriff’s Office says Ermol was still seated, unresponsive and noticeably injured when he was found.
