Driver crashes during chase over stolen vehicle on the I-90

LANCASTER, N.Y. (WIVB) — When a stolen car crossed the path of a New York State Trooper, a chase ensued on Tuesday afternoon near Lancaster.
Police say they scanned the license plates of a New Jersey car, only to learn its owner reported it as stolen. Officers attempted to signal for the driver to pull over, but a chase ensued when the driver refused to pull over.
A chase spanned from Pembroke through Depew on the I-90 westbound, but ended when the driver attempted to exit the roadway
