Demolition requested after fire destroys 2 1/2 story structure in Riverside neighborhood

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A demolition was requested following a Wednesday morning fire that destroyed a structure and damaged another in Buffalo's Riverside neighborhood, officials announced.Buffalo fire responded to 17 Collaton St. just after 10:40 a.m. Wednesday. The fire started on the second floor of the 2 1/2 story wood-frame structure and extended to the attic. Three people were displaced.Damage is estimated at a total of $375,000, with $250,000 to the structure and $125,000 to the contents
