Customs agents stop two locals from crossing border with stolen clothing

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two Buffalo natives are facing charges of theft after they took a wrong turn and nearly crossed the Canadian border with allegedly stolen goods.
Police say Demetria Williams and Natasha Johnson, both 17-years-old, were arrested after agents found $600 in stolen clothing, taken from the Outlet Mall in the Town of Niagara. Johnson and Williams reportedly didn’t intend to cross the border.
