Crews rescue 2 boaters from Lake Erie

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – First responders were called to the Erie Basin Marina after a woman fell off a boat and into the water early Sunday morning.
The Coast Guard responded to the call that came in around 1:30 a.m. after a man tried to rescue the woman from the water.
Both were in the water for nearly 30 minutes before they were able to make their way to safety on some rocks near shore.
Joshua Lurbey of the U.S. Coast Guard said, “We then circled onto the inside of the break wall to
