CPD offering Police Academy for high schoolers

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) — High schoolers in Cheektowaga who are looking to someday have a career in law enforcement will have a chance to learn more about jobs this Summer.
The Cheektowaga Police Department’s Youth Citizens Police Academy seeks to show high schoolers what it is like to be a police officer, training requirements and minimum qualifications.
