Couple arrested for leaving children in hot car

CENTRAL SQUARE, N.Y. (WIVB) – NY State Police were called to a Walmart in central New York after a passerby called 911.The passerby noticed two children left along in a car and was concerned for their welfare.Police and emergency personnel discovered a silver van with a 4 year-old sleeping and a 9 year-old sweating heavily.
