Convicted murderer, rapist granted parole

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- Convicted murderer Thomas Kennedy has been granted parole from Clinton Correctional.
He served 27 years of a 25-years to life sentence for raping, sodomizing, and killing a 9-year-old girl.
In 1988, Erie County Court Judge Joseph McCarthy gave him the maximum time behind bars.
“The only she did was cry out for help when the defendant forcibly imposed himself upon her. The defendant responded by stabbing her six times and cutting her throat,” Judge McCarthy
