Convicted animal abuser sentenced to up to eight years in prison

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A former cell block attendant for the Buffalo Police Department will spend up to the next eight years behind bars. Shannon Richardson was sentenced to a term of 2 and 2/3 years to 8 years in prison by a state supreme court justice Tuesday morning.
