Contractor seriously injured after fall from ladder

GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. (WIVB) — Grand Island fire officials say a contractor was seriously injured in a fall from a ladder on Park Place.
Shortly after 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Robert Power, 52, a Niagara Falls resident, was washing the second-floor windows of a residence when his ladder slid off a dormer, causing him to fall.
Power fell between 15 and 20 feet to the ground.
He was hospitalized at ECMC with severe traumatic injuries.
