Consumers expected to spend big this Valentine’s Day

(CBS News) — Valentine’s Day is almost here and retailers are expecting consumers to spend big.
The National Retail Federation predicts cnmsumers will spend about $19.6 billion this Valentine’s Day.
That means, on average, a person will spend more than $143.
19 percent of people surveyed say they plan to buy jewelry.
